A rock crab (Pachygrapsus crassipes) is feeding on a snail (Monodonta perpiexa). Right and left claws of this crab species are equal in size and do not seem to differ in their functions. In this video picture, the crab cracked the snail shell with the left claw and carried the meat to the mouth with the right claw. However, it later used the left claw to carry the meat to the mouth.
