Mutilated workers of Diacamma sp. from Japan sometimes exibit aggressive behaviour, which leads dominance hierarchy among them. They lose ability of sexual reproduction, but dominant workers (one to several workers per colony) have active ovaries and lay uninseminated haplod eggs those will become adult males. As seen in the movie, aggressive behaviour consists of biting, jerking, and antennal boxing between dominat and subordinate workers. Colored dots on the thorax and abdomen of ants are artificial marks for the observation.
