I had a chance to observe displays of a microlepidoptera moth Cosmopterix fulminellx. We usually think these displays are related to reproduction, but that does not seem to be the case in this moth. Moving on a leaf in the bright light should attract predators like robber flies. Why does the moth dance despite the high risk of predation?
