The Calappa crabs have a large projection at the base of their right claw. Crabs hook this projection on the opening of a snail shell-just like we hook a can opener on a can-and break the shell. There is a harmitcrab in the shell. The crab Calappa hepatica is moving the snail shell and looking for its opening.
