When you turn a boulder during your beach walk at spring low tide, you sometimes see this flatworm Thysanozoon brocchii burst into swimming. Its back is blackish; however, when the flatworm swims in an undulatory motion, the blackish back is a sharp contrast to the white abdomen. Small projections densely cover the body surface.
