This video shows the fourth of four observations of a focal female big- eyed green pit viper (Trimeresurus (Cryptelytrops) macrops), TRMA220 (right side of screen), interacting with a conspecific (likely another big- eyed viper) in a rural habitat in northeast Thailand. We classified this interaction as "direct" (within half a viper body length away), and "agonistic" (active response by focal viper) in outcome. See Barnes et al. (2020) for more details.
