Adult female Crested Honey Buzzard in Himeji City Zoo, response to
playbacks of various types of calls of Crested Honey Buzzards
(an ordinary call of a Japanese bird, own call and a rattling call
of a juvenile bird in Russia). The video was taken
after feeding.
It looked like that spontaneous vocalization was initially
suppressed by the playback. The bird became silent for
the next 300s.
