This video picture was filmed at Tenjinzaki in Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture during a spring low tide. A jellyfish is stranded at the very end of a channel and is washed back and forth by water motion caused by surges. The jellyfish has four oral arms and many short tentacles are located along the rim of the umbrella. This individual is a male and a horseshoe-shaped shiny white part is a testis. In females, gonads are red or purple. (translated by Asoh)
