A pebble crab, Eriphia smithii, is trying to crush a neritid snail, Nerita japonica. The crab seems to seek better position to press the shell, by rotating it with claws, other walking legs, and maxillipeds. This crab species has two claws asymmetrical in size; the crab in movie has large right claw. Crabs break the shell with a large claw, and then convey the flesh with a small claw to mouth.
