Male crabs of Uca lactea lactea move their chilipeds peculiarly. This behaviour is called "Waving".
Here I give some movies of the "Waving".

Cut 1
This waving is often seen from April to May. No special opponents are observed.

Cut 2
Often seen in July and August. Most opponents are males.

Cut 3
One of the rare wavings. This was observed just before male-male fight.

Cut 4
Mainly wave towards females. Often seen from June to August.

Cut 5
A wandering female and males around her.
The waving showed in Cut 4 is seen.
