During spring low tide, an aggregation of the isopods Ligia exotica was found in a depression near low-tide line. The aggregation consisted of individuals of various sizes. Large individuals have metallic-blue back whereas the bodies of small individuals are entirely dark gray. A large individual is moving forward while touching small individuals with its antennae. When it reached a pool, it abruptly changed the direction while dipping its posterior body in the water. (translated by Asoh)
