Dominat mutilated workers of Diacamma sp. from Japan often lay haploid male-destined eggs. In this movie, a worker-laid egg (indicated by a red triangle), that was picked up other worker (3:19:42), is taken from its mother (indicated by "W") to add on a egg pile (3:21:02). However, an unmutilated virgin worker (indicated by "G"), that will mate with a male and become a gamergate, was aware of this egg, and behaved aggressively to the worker (3:21:10). Interestingly, the worker dropped the egg and other worker picked it up (3:21:51). The future gamergate kept attacking the dominant worker for a while. Finally, the future gamergate was aware of the worker-laid egg, and took it to destroy (3:23:26). In the last cut, the future gamergate moved its madibles to crash the egg. Colored dots on the thorax and abdomen of ants are artificial marks for the observation.
