An individual mounted on a slide was viewed from its abdominal side. It has four pairs of legs. Each leg has claws called ¡Æmultiple claws¡Ç at the tip. It is a slow-moving animal; but when it extends the legs, the leg movement is rather quick.
This individual was collected from a blue-green-algal bed found on the outer wall of our laboratory building. (translated by Asoh)
