Male three-spined sticklebacks perform zigzag dances (i.e., dances in which a male shakes its body from left to right) when courting females. The male in the video has found a female and is performing zigzag dance. Another male then comes and performs a threatening display toward the courting male. The male, which was previously courting a female, goes back to the nest.
