A mason wasp was hunting a leaf-beetle larva on a Manchurian-Walnut tree.
The wasp stopped hunting and flew away, but why it did so is unknown.
Clinging tightly to leaves, the leaf-beetle larva appeared to be fighting back. The wasp is apparently inserting the stinger into the larva, but a single shot of poison does not seem to be strong enough to immobilize the lava. (translated by Asoh)
