Courtship behaviours of the freshwater goby Tridentiger brevispinis in an aquarium were recorded on digital VTR. After the female (right side) entered the male nest, the male (left side) erected his first dorsal fin and performed lateral display with vibrating his head. Responding to the male courtship, the female displayed her lateral side to the male.
