An adult female of wild spider monkey is feeding on fruits of milpe palm (Oenocarpus bataua). She sits on a large bunch of palm fruits and eating fruits one by one. She chews once or twice for each fruit only to make a scrach on its epicarp and swallow it. Large seeds are excreted as the stool and dispersed.
