The duet song of the Mueller's gibbon begins with the male and female exchanging wa, wa sounds. Following this prelude, the female sings the "great call". The chee, chee sounds heard in this video is the voice of the long-tailed macaque. The gibbons of Danum Valley is now classified as Northern Gray gibbon (Hylobates funereus).
