This video shows the first of three observations of a focal female big- eyed green pit viper (Trimeresurus (Cryptelytrops) macrops), TRMA271 (middle- right side of screen), interacting with a conspecific (likely another big- eyed viper) in forested habitat in northeast Thailand. The focal viper does not appear to respond and we classified this interaction as "indirect" (more than half a viper body length away) and "neutral" (viper not aware/does not acknowledge conspecific) in outcome.
